With strong client relationships and deep industry expertise, we help our clients operate efficiently and sustainably through the unlimited potential of imagination, technology and intelligence.

The Team Within Accenture Song sits AI & Data, the practice that builds the data‑led intelligence behind the customer work. Song AI & Data helps organisations unlock value from data, analytics and AI by creating more relevant, personalised and effective customer experiences. Our expertise spans customer insight, data strategy and platforms, advanced analytics, performance optimisation, and AI (including generative AI and agentic AI) transformation.

You will join the Song AI & Data UK practice, within the AI & Modelling Craft: a community of data scientists, AI engineers, modellers and solution architects focused on applying AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to solve customer and growth challenges. Our teams work across the full lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and designing solutions through to building, deploying and operating AI products that deliver measurable business value.

The Role Generative AI is moving from experimentation into enterprise delivery, and the gap between a compelling demonstration and a production‑ready solution remains significant. Solutions that succeed at scale must be reliable, secure, cost‑effective and capable of delivering measurable business outcomes. As an AI & Agentic Technical Delivery Lead, you will be the senior technical authority responsible for ensuring customer AI and agentic solutions are delivered successfully. You will review and challenge solution designs, identify risks before they become delivery issues, advise senior client stakeholders on what is realistically achievable, and help teams move from proof of concept to production. The role combines client advisory, technical leadership and delivery accountability.

What You Will Do:

  • Review and challenge solution architectures, covering model selection, retrieval‑augmented generation, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, scalability and cost.
  • Identify technical and delivery risks early, including data quality issues, integration complexity, performance bottlenecks and operational readiness concerns.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on how customer AI solutions can create value, what is technically feasible and where risks and trade‑offs exist.
  • Shape and size customer AI solutions, translating client ambitions into technical requirements, delivery approaches, resource requirements, realistic estimates and risk assessments.
  • Assess whether proofs of concept are ready to scale, clearly explaining what has been proven, what has not and what is required before production deployment.
  • Ensure solutions create measurable customer and business value, helping teams connect technical decisions to customer experience, growth, efficiency and commercial outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, data scientists and product specialists, helping them navigate complex technical and delivery challenges.
  • Establish scalable engineering and delivery practices, including evaluation frameworks, testing approaches, deployment patterns and technical quality standards.
  • Build reusable assets, architecture patterns and delivery frameworks that accelerate future customer AI engagements and strengthen the AI & Modelling Craft.
  • Represent Accenture Song in client engagements, proposals and market‑facing conversations, while developing the technical capability of the teams around you.

What’s In It For You:

Our Total Rewards consist of a competitive basic salary, annual performance bonus, opportunities to acquire equity and a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits. These include perks such as: 30 days of leave per year plus 3 extra volunteering days for charitable work of your choice, family‑friendly and flexible work policies, attractive pension plan with financial wellbeing support and resources, private healthcare insurance plan and mental wellbeing support, employee assistance programme, career development and counselling, and a range of generous parental leave offerings.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Production AI and agentic delivery.
  • A proven track record of taking generative AI and agentic solutions from proof of concept into production, including retrieval‑augmented generation, LLM‑powered applications, agentic workflows or multimodal systems.
  • AI and data science breadth.
  • Customer AI expertise.
  • Engineering and platform foundations.
  • Technical delivery leadership.
  • Solution shaping and estimation.
  • Senior client advisory.
  • Responsible AI and governance.

Nice to Have:

  • Consulting and commercial experience.

How to prepare for a job interview at WeAreTechWomen

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If WeAreTechWomen uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
