As a Life Sciences R&D Consultant, you will:
- Work as part of focused project teams across a range of Life Sciences R&D topics, including research, clinical development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and adjacent biotech/medtech domains
- Independently lead workstreams to assess client R&D strategies, operating models, processes and technology landscape as part of broader transformation programmes
- Gather, synthesise and analyse data from a variety of sources to draw insights and develop strategic recommendations across R&D productivity, pipeline/portfolio prioritisation, clinical trial innovation, regulatory and safety transformation, and digital/AI‑enabled change
- Structure and communicate outcomes to client management teams, helping senior stakeholders make informed, evidence‑based decisions
- Work alongside client teams to help implement recommendations and deliver measurable value, helping get the right therapies to patients faster
We are looking for you if you have:
- 2–5+ years’ relevant experience focusing on R&D in the Life Sciences industry, including strategy/management consulting and/or experience within biopharma or biotech R&D organisations
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. An advanced degree is a plus but not essential
- Strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: R&D strategy and operating model; research and clinical development; pipeline/portfolio/asset strategy; regulatory, safety or pharmacovigilance; digital transformation and innovation; data, analytics and AI in R&D; patient, site and investigator experience
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Fluency in English
- An interest in technology, data and the future of Life Sciences R&D

Your home office will be in London. This role is client‑facing and may therefore involve travel, working in other parts of the UK as well as overseas depending on the needs of the project.
