Overview
The Insight team's mission is to represent the voice of the customer and ensure Tesco makes confident, customer-led decisions. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the Clubcard team to deliver customer-centric propositions and will have an integral role in shaping the future Clubcard strategy. You'll generate insights about our customers and competitors that directly support our Insight delivery plan and team priorities. By turning data into clear insights and actionable recommendations, you'll influence how we evolve and grow our customer-facing propositions - helping the business to meet its targets and continue delivering great value for customers.
Responsibilities
- Using data & insight to tell compelling stories, sharing this across the business to influence and deliver practical recommendations.
- Manage both research and analytics requests, providing clear and focused briefs.
- Connect multiple data sets of varying types (research, behavioural, panel, economic, market context) to support the creation of insight about our customers, competitors & markets that we can act on.
- Support senior colleagues to develop and evolve compelling propositions, from insight led proposition development through to evaluation.
- Ensure projects deliver against requirements, on time and on budget, and are presented in a simple way, to land the key messages with impact.
Qualifications
- A passion for loyalty and an inquisitive mind!
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with an ability to de-code big data.
- Ability to consolidate multiple sources of data and insight to create clear and succinct presentations using data visualisation and storytelling.
- Number of years experience in an insight function or as a recipient of Insight content e.g.: Planner, Strategist, Brand Manager (Agency or client-side).
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once involving multiple stages.
- Good understanding of different insight approaches and tools, alongside good Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills.
- Responsible for analysing and organising data to support a better understanding of customers and our propositions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally amongst key stakeholders across the business.
