Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience leading leadership development or organizational design initiatives within technology firms, research institutions, or global organizations.
  • 3 years of experience directly managing teams.
  • Experience advising or influencing Vice President (VP) or C-suite executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Behavioral Science, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with executive offices and HR business partners to deliver unified organizational strategies.
  • Experience translating qualitative talent insights and multi-source data into measurable business metrics and strategies.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools practically to optimize workflows or develop human teams alongside automated processes.

About the job:

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is open to DeepMind employees as a secondment opportunity and will not impact your status as a full-time employee. Your level and ladder will not change for the duration of the secondment. Google employees will need to secure pre-approval from their VP to apply for this role as your current team will not be able to backfill you for the duration of your assignment, and so will need to pre-agree to loan your headcount to DeepMind for the duration. Google FTC employees, and those impacted, do not need this approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the leadership development agenda, designing bespoke internal portfolios and utilizing Google offerings to build capabilities at scale.
  • Orchestrate high-impact leadership forums and connection spaces to prepare leaders for long-term organizational transformation and rapid pivots.
  • Deploy multi-modal development tools, including 360-degree feedback assessments, coaching tracks, and AI developmental platforms.
  • Embed codified leadership capability frameworks across core performance, talent management, and succession planning processes to safeguard the senior talent runway.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of three organizational development specialists to deliver on the leadership agenda.
