We are looking for a Strategy Consultant with a demonstrable background in Financial Services, particularly Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management. You should have a good understanding of strategy or management consulting.

In joining Accenture Strategy you will drive the CEO agenda on issues related to digital disruption, competitive agility, global operating models, and workforce of the future to identify new sources of value.

In our team you will learn to:

  • Use your judgment to solve client business problems, bringing structure and quantitative and qualitative analysis while acting and taking decisions with little management oversight.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and deliver lasting and distinctive outcomes and value.
  • Develop knowledge of prevailing trends, financials and operating drivers, identifying industry‑specific operating and financial metrics to identify key value drivers.
  • Build and sustain trusted senior client relationships in the C‑suite.
  • Contribute to business development activities including opportunity identification/qualification and proposal development/presentation.

  • Understand key strategic/operational issues and structure the problem to develop hypotheses around possible solutions.
  • Structure and create business/market assessments.
  • Develop and utilize industry knowledge to be able to make implementation‑oriented recommendations.
  • Develop business cases to identify, measure and realise enterprise value.
  • This will include working on a combination of discrete strategy engagements and as part of wider cross‑Accenture teams engaged on larger transformation programmes.

    Qualification:

    We are looking for experience in the following:

    • Good understanding, interest and experience in Banking and Capital Markets.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience at a top‑tier or boutique consulting firm or at a leading company with a combination of technical / operational and management / business development / strategy roles.
    • Familiarity with recognised Strategy frameworks and techniques.
    • Experience of building relationships at all levels in an organisation.
    • A high‑level understanding of value chain business models, operating models, industry trends and challenges and regulatory frameworks.
    • Experience working in diverse teams in complex strategy/consulting engagements, delivering high‑quality output in short timeframes.
    • Strong analytical skills, understands complex issues, quickly absorbs information, excels in conceptual, analytical and creative problem solving.
    • Digitally savvy; curious and passionate about technology, understands its impact on business and society.
    • Driven; enjoys a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, determined and optimistic.

    Academic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree.

    • Experience in operating model design, strategy formulation, digital transformation, impact assessment, monitoring, and evaluation.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
    • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
    • Communication: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
    • Leadership ability in a team environment, with an eagerness to drive progress with a results‑driven attitude.
    • Experience of developing & mentoring junior practitioners.
