AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow

Level: Associate Manager or Specialist

Salary: Competitive salary & Package (Depending on level of experience)

We are looking for experienced DevOps/Platform Engineers to join our vibrant community of Platform Engineering professionals, encompassing knowledge and experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Observability, and Internal Developer Platforms/Portals, based at our Scotland offices on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working within a high performing delivery team, you will engage directly with our clients to build innovative Platform Engineering and DevOps Capabilities.

Qualification

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK to provision and manage infrastructure as code.
  • Practical experience hosting services on AWS ECS, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda.
  • Deep understanding of system performance optimisation in cloud environments (particularly AWS).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and security monitoring.
  • You have experience leading a team and experience in people management
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Snyk, Aqua Security, or HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
  • Effective collaboration skills with development and infrastructure teams for managing cloud environments.
  • Experience in setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve system observability.
