Trading Platforms is a critical department for Technology, created to directly support all aspects of Technology applications used within the Front Office. The department is responsible for ensuring dedicated, specialist functional and technical support is available for all of the Capital Markets trading desks, as well as supporting the desks in delivery of their business strategy through development of Technology solutions.

What to Expect
Technology touches every part of our organisation from our traders placing a trade to our risk managers utilising technology to analysis our risk exposure. Technology is integral to what we do and it’s why we invest so much in developing state of the art infrastructure.
The Trading Platforms Teams covers all aspects of application support, as well as a dedicated on-site desktop support team to ensure the components of the traders’ physical operating environment (desktop, peripherals, screens) are well supported and fit for purpose.
As the department has constant access to the Front Office desks, the Trading Platforms teams act in a vital role as a conduit into all Technology teams, and often act as liaison between the Front Office personnel and the wider Technology department.
The Trading Platforms team offers a wide variety of opportunities for both technically and functionally minded analysts. You could be:
- Joining a development team to provide critical features to the Front Office in an agile, on-demand manner
- Working alongside the trading desks to support trade booking on live transactions
- Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving trader issues with their desktop applications
- Supporting the smooth operation of time critical, cutting edge e-Trading systems
All of the Trading Platforms personnel supporting Front Office are part of a high profile department that demands focus, attention to detail and a disciplined, collaborative approach to problem solving. You will be rewarded with a varied and challenging role, allowing a unique perspective into the operation of the Capital Markets trading environment.
Our 18 month Analyst Programme starts with a comprehensive training program designed to develop a sound understanding of our product lines, our clients & our business strategies.
