An exciting opportunity to volunteer with a start-up Anti-bullying Charity; we are looking for friendly and passionate people to join our fundraising team to assist in raising awareness and vital funds.
With your help we want to be the "go to" charity for anti-bullying. Your help on the frontline of fundraising will help us to achieve this goal. The money that you raise will enable us to scale our impact even further, to provide the help, support and education to those who need it. Raising funds will help us raise awareness of our services, where we can engage children and adults, empowering them so that they no longer suffer at the hands of bullying.
What are we looking for?
- Prior experience in grants applications is required, ideally some sales background that could be useful for this role.
- Confident, friendly and passionate.
- Shares our mission and supports our purpose.
- Strong communication skills.
- A creative thinker who sees solutions, not problems.
- Sales experience and can demonstrate success in this area.
- Resourceful and not phased by a challenge.
- Excellent organisational skills.
Location
Home-based, but ideally located in the London area in order to have face to face discussions in the future.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for experienced fundraisers either in the restricted funds/grants space or for unrestricted funds, corporate fund, partnership, sponsorship space. You must set up your own strategy and work alone or in a team depending on the current needs. You must know how to search for funds, and complete a fundraising.
