About the role. We’re looking for a B2B PR Manager to join Pion as we continue to grow and expand our B2B PR function. You will shape how Pion appears across media, events, awards and industry conversations. You’ll sit within the wider B2B Marketing team, working closely with Content, Events and Sales to raise brand awareness, support revenue-driving initiatives, and position Pion as a leading voice in performance, affiliate and youth marketing.
You’ll join at a pivotal moment — with major launches, a packed events calendar, and award season ahead — giving you immediate impact, visibility and room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Own B2B PR at Pion, securing standout coverage across UK and US marketing, tech and business media.
- Pitch sharp, newsworthy stories and build strong relationships with journalists and industry publications.
- Lead PR for third-party and owned events, driving pre-event buzz, press attendance and post-event coverage.
- Partner with Sales and GTM to support events with messaging, materials and lead capture that drive real impact.
- Track and report on press coverage, backlinks and awareness to show clear PR value.
- Grow Pion’s presence through industry awards, community conversations and LinkedIn support.
- Use creative thinking and AI tools to cut through crowded media landscapes and elevate our storytelling.
About you
We’d really like to hear from you if you have:
- Current and recent experience in B2B PR, communications or digital storytelling within the marketing space.
- A strong instinct for what makes a great media story and how to land coverage.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of the UK media landscape (US is a bonus).
- Experience working in or alongside the marketing, performance, affiliate or youth marketing space.
- Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
- Confidence using AI tools to improve efficiency and creativity.
- Creative, proactive approaches to journalist outreach and relationship-building.
