About the role
We are looking for a brand new Head of Product Marketing to join us who will strategically and pro‐actively approach this role. As the Head of Product Marketing at Pion, you are the voice of the market and the architect of our product narrative. Navigating a complex ecosystem of SaaS, Affiliate, and Media products, your job is to figure out who we are selling to, what they care about, and how we position our solutions to win. Reporting to the CPO, you will own the product's Go‐To‐Market (GTM) and positioning strategy, build foundational messaging and marketing assets, and hand those blueprints over to the Sales Enablement team.
Responsibilities
- Deeply research the market, track competitors, and define exactly who we sell to (ICPs and Personas) across SaaS, Affiliate, and Media.
- Operate simultaneously across Product, Marketing, and Sales, defining a strong B2B/B2C strategy that supports these teams to reach their OKRs.
- Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement teams, using tools such as Gong to gather client feedback, understand perspectives, and maintain a feedback loop to Product teams.
- Partner with Product Managers to define product features and value, building foundational messaging frameworks for how we talk about our products.
- Write and produce all external marketing assets: B2B website copy, LinkedIn content, customer emails, and top‐of‐funnel marketing campaigns.
- Own overarching messaging, positioning, and narrative consistency for major external events (e.g., Pioneer & YMS).
- Track market perception—the wider world and target market reaction to the Pion brand, our products, and our positioning.
Qualifications
- Multi‐Product Experience: Proven experience marketing a complex portfolio of products; experience with SaaS, Media, or Affiliate networks is highly preferred.
- Exceptional Storytelling: Elite copywriter and communicator able to translate complex technical features into compelling, benefit‐driven market messaging.
- Analytical Researcher: Natural curiosity for market dynamics, competitor movements, and buyer psychology.
- Collaborative DNA: Strong track record of partnering with Product Management and Sales Enablement to extract value and hand off messaging.
- Strategic and Hands‐On: Ability to operate strategically while also contributing directly as an individual contributor.
- Product Marketing Metrics: Understanding of metrics such as revenue generated, website traffic, reach and engagement metrics, and win rates.
Benefits
- Competitive salary.
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Accredited "Great Place To Work" company in three categories.
- Commitment to personal development and career growth through coaching workshops and progression plans.
- Remote‐first working environment with up to 180 days working from abroad (subject to approval).
- Flexible working hours (start 8‐10 am, finish 4:30‐6:30 pm).
- Focus on welfare: monthly wellness allowance, gym memberships, access to mental‐health first aiders, a health cash plan and more.
- Access to partnership discounts from major brands such as Google, Apple, GymShark, Domino's, Uber, and others.
- £200 work‐from‐home setup allowance.
