The main focus of the role is to market the site and position it as a scientific centre of excellence, whilst providing leadership and taking accountability for the Landlord operations at Colworth Science Park. The role involves marketing, external positioning, supervising the operational team, ensuring high standards of management, maintenance and service, controlling expenditures and complying with legislation. It may involve travel to other science parks and frequent travel to London and university locations.

Client Defined Responsibilities
- Authorise all promotional works, marketing budgets and high-level operational activity.
- Manage marketing, external positioning and exposure of the park in the academic and industry world.
- Supervise the operational team ensuring standards of management, maintenance and service are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and relevant legislation.
- Maintain relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
- Provide management leadership and reports to the Client Director.
Skills and Knowledge
- Ensure building procedures support management of the building.
- Support budget setting, management and reconciliation.
- Develop effective, proactive relationships with all occupiers.
- Manage contractors for PPM and reactive maintenance as per company policies.
- Coach and mentor service teams to deliver a one‑team ethos.
- Attention to detail, high levels of occupier engagement and customer service.
- Seek continuous improvement in service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and tenants.
- IOSH membership / IWFM membership.
- Building Management and Contractor management skills.
