Role Summary / Purpose and Scope

This is an incredible opportunity to work in one of London’s most iconic business and lifestyle destinations, welcoming millions of visitors annually and working within a dynamic team in a fast‑paced environment. The development encompasses 20 buildings, over 3,000,000 sq ft, a management team of 30 individuals, 300+ service partners and is home to 30,000 occupiers.

This role will be responsible for implementing, facilitating and managing the delivery of the estate and building fabric management strategies. Assisting and advising the property management teams on building fabric maintenance and procure and manage small works projects from £10,000 to £500,000.

Skills, Knowledge and Values

Skills (People & Technical)

  • Building/Fabric defect diagnoses and recommending remedial works
  • Specification writing for small works and tendering/managing small works packages
  • When required, tender and appoint lead consultants to project manage/provide professional advice
  • Manage statutory compliance on façade inspections, annual 33% surveys – Arrange surveys, review reports and arrange works resulting from reports
  • Assist with any fabric related issues raised in annual general and fire risk assessment that Property Managers may require assistance with
  • Manage fire stopping inspections and maintenance
  • Lead on Bi‑monthly fabric meetings with Property Managers
  • Fabric budgets- Support Property Managers in setting and utilising the annual fabric and project budgets
  • Events- Support the events team as and when required
  • Ensure existing asbestos register software is operational and software is to be kept up to date and managed by the property managers
  • Building fabric inspections
  • Planned maintenance programme- support property teams and external consultants in preparing the annual Planned maintenance programme reports
  • Contribute to MAPP supporting its vision, values and aims & objectives

Experience and Salary

Level of Experience / Certifications:

Essential skills:

  • Experience in the provision of fabric maintenance works in a commercial environment.
  • Management of small works projects up to circa £500,000.
  • Project management
  • CDM Knowledge
  • Able to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable skills:

  • Member of the RICS or CIOB
  • Building regulation knowledge
  • IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualifications.
  • Service charge knowledge
  • Good understanding of property management principles and current industry trends. Knowledge of building services maintenance operations

Working Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday

Salary Range (Based on Experience) £65,000 – £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
