Role Summary

This role is responsible for all aspects of facilities management within a designated set of buildings and the wider portfolio, and for client relationship management. The Associate Director will manage day‑to‑day operations of sites, lead both site and non‑site based team members, and maintain relationships with clients and occupiers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day‑to‑day running of buildings within the portfolio
  • Support senior management in meeting the operational requirements of the FM team
  • Provide the highest level of service standards to clients and building tenants
  • Carry out and record regular property inspections
  • Maintain client and occupier liaison on a regular basis
  • Line‑manage direct reports and monitor onsite staff
  • Monitor contractor and supplier performance (reporting to contracts manager as required)
  • Draft and monitor service charge budgets and manage expenditure allocation
  • Ensure invoices are correctly apportioned to each property
  • Fulfil compliance, policy and legislative requirements in accordance with MAPP policies and procedures

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 4+ years of experience in a similar facilities management role
  • Full driving licence
  • IOSH essential; NEBOSH desirable

Salary and Working Hours

Salary Range: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, based on experience

Working Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Thursday; 9am – 5pm Friday
