We’re looking for a highly strategic and commercially-minded Senior Ecommerce Manager to lead and scale the digital storefronts for a world-class Formula 1 driver. This role sits at the heart of our merchandise and digital strategy, ensuring that every product drop, collection launch, and site update is executed to the highest standard.

You will take full ownership of the end-to-end ecommerce journey—from platform management and conversion rate optimisation to performance marketing and customer retention. We need someone who can balance the "big picture" strategy of growing a global brand with the meticulous detail required to run a high-traffic online store.

About Us: We are wearegrip, a London-based creative studio who work with some of the most exciting drivers in F1. Our goal is to build the most distinctive personal brands in sport that capture the attention of fans, teams, and brands around the world. Working hand-in-hand with each driver, we create and manage their personal brand across social media, branding, marketing, merchandise, content creation, digital, and more. When you join wearegrip, you’ll be working at the heart of our multi-skilled, fast-paced start-up and immediately have the opportunity to begin shaping your future within our highly motivated and passionate team.

Your Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Ecommerce Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute the long-term ecommerce roadmap for our clients, driving global sales growth and increasing customer lifetime value. Own the global trading calendar and drive the execution of launches, promotions, and “hype” drops with the customer journey front-of-mind. Manage and optimise the Shopify ecosystem, including app integrations, theme customisation, and backend logistics. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, and Merchandising to align campaigns, storytelling, product presentation, and onsite experience with commercial and conversion goals.
  • Retention, Email & Loyalty: Own the CRM strategy: You will be the architect of our email marketing, using Klaviyo to build sophisticated lifecycle flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back) that turn one-time buyers into lifelong fans. Build the Inner Circle: Lead the design, launch, and management of driver-specific app and loyalty scheme. You’ll define the perks; from early access, to drops, to exclusive digital content, and ensure the tech stack supports a frictionless member experience. Use advanced segmentation in Klaviyo to deliver highly personalised content that reflects and resonates with their specific global fanbase.
  • Data & Performance: Own daily, weekly, and monthly site performance, balancing revenue, conversion, and margin targets. Analyse site performance, sales data, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO). Provide detailed post-campaign reporting and commercial analysis, specifically tracking the impact of email flows and loyalty engagement on total revenue. Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure stock levels are synced and inventory management is seamless across global territories.
  • Customer Experience: Manage the customer service partner, ensuring a consistent, on-brand, and frictionless customer experience across all touchpoints. Use customer feedback, support data, and journey pain points to inform continuous improvements across the site and overall experience.
  • Team & Culture: Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and innovation within the team.

About You: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Ecommerce Management, ideally within a high-growth fashion, streetwear, or talent-led brand. Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Plus and Klaviyo. You know how to build a flow from scratch and how to A/B test a subject line until it sings. Previous experience building or managing a digital loyalty program (e.g., via LoyaltyLion, Yotpo, or Smile). Strong commercial acumen — you understand the levers that drive growth and are comfortable managing P&Ls. Analytical by nature; you live in analytics and use data to back up every decision. Calm under pressure, especially when managing high-volume site traffic during race weekends. Based in the UK and able to commute to our Hoxton studio at least four times a week. Not essential, but it’s always a bonus if you’re a Formula 1 fan.

Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience. 20 days of annual leave plus a minimum of 5 days leave over Christmas and New Year. 1 extra fully paid day off for your birthday. "Work from Anywhere" Wednesdays—our mandatory weekly out-of-office day. Days in lieu when required to work weekends (e.g., during race launches). Apple Macbook plus any relevant software and equipment. Budget for personal skills training and development.
