The role
In your full-time role as a Graphic Designer, you will be primarily responsible for concepting, designing and reviewing all clothing and accessories for athletes’ personal clothing brands inside and outside of Formula 1. You will be responsible for researching themes, building out collections, designing graphics, selecting colourways, producing tech packs and reviewing samples to ensure we’re creating fresh and on-trend merchandise for each and every project. We’re a small team, so it’s essential that you’re self-motivated and you have the passion and determination to continually grow and evolve your skill set. You will often have the opportunity to work on wider campaigns beyond apparel, and whilst having the responsibility for your own projects, you will also work collaboratively across other projects within wearegrip.

Your responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Help to create the overarching art direction & campaign assets that bring our clients brand and collections to life across social & advertising.
- Work across various graphic design projects including athlete branding, campaign art direction & helmet concepts.
- Support in designing strong, graphic, and print-led concepts based on a phenomenal understanding of fashion and mens/womens streetwear style.
- Research current and future trends in fashion & graphic design.
- Develop exciting and varied themes that audiences love.
- Work across and prioritise multiple ongoing projects, whilst delivering them on time and to an exceptional standard.
About you
- Have 4-6 years of experience in a similar graphic design role.
- High level of skill within print, graphic design and typography, producing to an industry standard.
- Confident working across a variety of design styles and disciplines.
- An excellent eye for detail and colour.
- Have experience creating tech packs.
- Strong knowledge of fabric, construction and fit.
- Exceptional skill with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Indesign.
- Not essential but always a bonus: Interested in motorsport and specifically Formula 1.
- Experience working with high-level athletes or sports organisations.
- Interested in fashion and streetwear style.
