Senior Wordings Technician opportunity working with a leading specialty insurer operating within the Lloyd’s Market. Reporting to the Head of Wordings, you will become a key technical partner to underwriters, brokers and claims teams ensuring policy documentation clearly reflects intended cover, aligns with the risk appetite, and delivers fair, compliant customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft and negotiate policy wordings and contractual documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, compliance and alignment with risk appetite.
  • Partner with underwriting teams, brokers and third parties to develop and implement effective wording solutions.
  • Provide technical wording expertise and support for underwriting, claims and commercial decision-making.
  • Identify and resolve contractual and market issues through practical, commercially appropriate solutions.
  • Lead complex wording negotiations and support product development, market research and regulatory activities.
