Key responsibilities

  • Lead End-to-End D365 Finance Implementation: Own the delivery of a Dynamics 365 Finance implementation programme, from mobilisation and design through build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilisation.
  • Programme & Workstream Management: Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, RAID logs, and governance structures to ensure delivery remains on time and within scope.
  • Solution Design & Configuration Oversight: Oversee functional design, system configuration, and integration of D365 with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Migration & Testing Leadership: Lead data migration strategy, system integration testing (SIT), UAT coordination, and defect resolution to ensure a controlled and high-quality deployment.
  • Process Standardisation & Optimisation: Drive finance process redesign aligned to D365 capabilities, embedding standardisation, automation, and strong financial controls.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between finance, IT, system integrators, and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication, decision-making, and issue resolution.
  • Cutover & Go-Live Management: Oversee cutover planning, readiness assessments, training, and hyper-care support to ensure successful adoption and business continuity.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 10+ years’ experience delivering large-scale Finance Transformation programmes, with significant exposure to ERP implementations.
  • Proven track record leading end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programmes with multiple workstreams, system integrators, and senior stakeholders.
  • Confident operating at executive level, providing clear programme updates, managing risks, and driving key decisions.
