Compliance Manger (AR’s/ Regulatory Advisory) opportunity working with a rapidly growing insurtech group.
You will play a key role in ensuring the Group complies with financial services regulations, particularly across its insurance and appointed representative networks.
The role involves maintaining the compliance framework, monitoring regulatory changes, and promoting a strong culture of compliance, requiring practical experience with FCA regulations, insurance products, and the appointed representative model.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Group's compliance strategy for insurance distribution.
- Monitor regulatory developments, assess compliance risks, and provide horizon scanning.
- Assist with FCA regulatory reporting and support compliance with SM&CR requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and risk management processes.
- Conduct oversight and quality assurance across the appointed representative network.
- Perform compliance risk assessments for new and existing business activities.
- Prepare management reports on regulatory developments and compliance effectiveness.
- Key Skills and Experience
- Proven compliance experience within a directly authorised FSMA firm.
- Strong experience with insurance products and the appointed representative model.
- Good knowledge of FCA regulations, including SYSC, COBS, ICOBS, and CASS 5.
