We are currently partnering with a market-leading speciality Insurer Broker to recruit an IT Finance Transformation Analyst on a 12-month FTC. The successful candidate will drive the transformation of the finance and actuarial function by identifying, designing and delivering solutions that automate manual work, improve data quality and enhance existing tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance and actuarial transformation initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and process improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational workload.
  • Review and enhance existing finance and actuarial processes to improve effectiveness.
  • Eliminate process duplication and streamline workflows across functions.
  • Improve data quality, governance, and reporting capabilities.
  • Scope, design, build, test, and implement new technology-driven solutions.
  • Utilise modern tools and best practices to support digital transformation objectives.
  • Manage the transition of solutions from development into production environments.
  • Deliver stakeholder engagement, communication, and user training to support adoption.
  • Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver cross-functional transformation projects.
  • Support ERP and wider finance transformation programmes, adapting priorities as business needs evolve.

Skills & Experience:

  • Technical background in either Finance or Actuarial.
  • Experience in General Insurance (preferred but not essential).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Power Query / Power Pivot.
  • Familiarity with data preparation tools such as Alteryx or Power Query.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
