We are working with a leading health insurer who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager - Sustainability to join a high-performing Sustainable Finance team.
This is a key role supporting the reporting, planning and forecasting of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, with a particular focus on Scope 3 measurement and reporting, sustainability governance and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead GHG emissions reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting across Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
- Drive Scope 3 finance transformation and support readiness for external assurance and disclosure.
- Develop robust processes, controls and governance around sustainability data and reporting.
- Partner with finance, sustainability and wider business stakeholders to deliver sustainability priorities.
- Support the implementation of evolving sustainability reporting requirements, including CSRD and UK SRS.
- Contribute to decarbonisation initiatives, net-zero transition planning and sustainability-related business cases.
- What we are looking for
- ACA, CIMA or equivalent finance qualification with 4+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Must have practical PCAF (Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials) experience, including knowledge of financed emissions and relevant investment asset classes.
- Strong understanding of GHG accounting and Scope 3 emissions measurement and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability, including experience with complex models and large datasets.
- Good understanding of financial/non-financial controls and data integrity.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards, including CSRD and UK SRS.
- Experience with Aladdin is desirable.
- Experience with other GHG accounting or sustainability systems such as Oracle, Workiva or Watershed would be advantageous.
