About the role

We’re looking for a full-time Associate Creative Director to join Coolr Studios, the in-house creative arm of Coolr, where creativity and culture move fast. You’ll be part of a growing, collaborative team shaping standout campaigns and content for a range of brands, built for social from the ground up.

This role is for someone who lives and breathes social. A creative leader with a strong track record of developing culturally relevant ideas and guiding teams to deliver work that cuts through. You’ll have a deep understanding of what works on social, from emerging trends to platform nuances, and know how to turn those insights into campaigns people actually want to watch, share and engage with.

The job

  • Lead the development of culturally relevant, social-first creative ideas across campaigns and always on content.
  • Work closely with Strategy and Creative Directors to shape creative responses to briefs.
  • Guide Senior, Midweight and Junior Creatives through the ideation process, helping elevate ideas from individual pieces of content into stronger campaign thinking.
  • Review creative output across accounts and ensure a consistently high creative standard.
  • Present creative work confidently in client meetings and pitches.
  • Take on client feedback and guide teams on how ideas can evolve and improve.
  • Work closely with Producers, Designers, Editors and Strategists to bring ideas to life.
  • Support the development of repeatable content formats and social-first creative systems for clients.
  • Stay on top of social trends, creator culture and emerging formats across platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Influencer team to identify suitable creators and ensure influencer content aligns with the overall creative idea.
  • Support the development of creative ideas for new business pitches and proactive opportunities.

What we are looking for

  • Creative Leadership: Ability to lead creative thinking across projects and guide teams towards stronger ideas and campaign thinking.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of how creative ideas connect to brand goals, audience behaviours and social platforms.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidence presenting creative work internally and to clients.
  • Team Development: Ability to mentor creatives and help develop their thinking, craft and confidence.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook etc.), creator culture and emerging trends.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of production timelines, budgets and how ideas translate into deliverable work.
  • Collaboration: A natural ability to build strong working relationships across Strategy, Production, Design and Client Services teams.
