About the role:
We are looking for a Lead Videographer, who will play a key role in shaping our video output, bringing fresh ideas and problem-solving skills to produce standout moments across social platforms. You will collaborate closely with teams across production, design, and editing to oversee and optimise video production workflows, ensuring seamless execution across a diverse range of projects.
You will drive creativity, efficiency, and innovation, ensuring top-quality content that meets brand goals.
The job:
- Lead a team of in-house and freelance videographers.
- Direct and coordinate talent, camera operators, sound, lighting, and other crew members during shoots.
- Ensure high-quality video production standards across all content, including lighting, framing, sound, and equipment usage.
- Provide guidelines, direction and support for regionally produced social and digital assets, alongside the social content lead.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to deliver content that brings to life the brand, its values and key campaigns.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to videographers and other creative team members, helping them develop their skills and grow within the agency.
- Assign tasks, manage team workload, and ensure the team is working efficiently toward shared goals.
- Work closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to execute a variety of video projects.
- Oversee the maintenance and organisation of video production equipment, ensuring the team has access to the tools they need for each project.
- Stay updated on the latest video production technology and recommend new tools or equipment that can enhance the agency’s video capabilities.
What we are looking for:
- Be a first-class videographer, that has led on larger scale shoots, making sure overall quality meets the client’s standards.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge shooting social content.
- Translate design concepts and storyboards to create high-end edits with a social first focus.
- Be able to work at pace and possess a contemporary stylistic flair that can flex to all types of filmed content and all types of clients.
- Confident with all digital moving image formats and technical delivery specifications.
- Experience managing a small team (e.g., 2-5 people), with responsibilities including task delegation, performance management, and team development.
- Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills.
- Love social and have a strong interest in emerging creator talent.
