About the role:
We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Content Creator to join our team and bring ideas to life through lo-fi, highly engaging short-form video & static content. If you\’re obsessed with TikTok and Instagram Reels, know how to shoot and edit compelling content on a phone, and love experimenting with trends, sounds, and storytelling — this role is for you. You\’ll collaborate closely with our team to develop compelling content across a number of iconic brands, ensuring each piece resonates with its intended audience.
The job
- Ideation: Ideate, script and storyboard engaging lo-fi content that’s tailored to client’s objectives and social audiences. Pitching clear ideas with all necessary considerations (e.g shot lists) to ensure smooth content execution
- Copywriting: Write sharp, on-brand captions, hooks and in-asset text that drives engagement and storytelling.
- Lo-fi Production: Shoot and edit content using a phone or lightweight setup (no fancy gear required!)
- Social Listening: Staying up-to-date with social trends, platform features and ever-evolving audience behaviours to inform content strategies and maintain relevance.
- Client Presentations: Crafting compelling presentations using Google Slides or PowerPoint to pitch concepts and demonstrate how ideas will be brought to life.
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, editorial, design, and production, to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and goals.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in creating and managing social content, with a portfolio showcasing work you’re proud of (Ideally TikTok/Instagram focussed!)
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content.
- Strong passion and knowledge for internet culture – formats, audiences, communities and culture
- Proficiency in presentation tools like Google Slides and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in pre-production planning.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing trends and client needs.
