The organisation creates a diverse mix of content – from publications and websites to podcasts, video, and social media, engaging a wide audience of lawyers, policymakers, and industry leaders.
As the Web Content Editor, you will take ownership of editing, publishing, and managing multimedia content across web, audio, film, and social platforms. This is a varied role that combines editorial expertise with digital production skills.
The Role:
- Editing, proofreading, and publishing text content across the organisation\’s website and platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Managing content within the CMS, keeping web pages current and aligned with style guidelines.
- Editing and uploading podcasts and video content (Adobe Premiere Pro/Audition), managing YouTube, Vimeo, and Audioboom channels.
- Overseeing the organisation\’s social media presence, including content planning and posting.
- Supporting the production of the flagship magazine and its online presence, including articles, transcripts, and related assets.
- Collaborating with internal teams, training colleagues in CMS and multimedia processes, and providing editorial support across the organisation.
The Candidate:
- 2 years + editorial experience in a multimedia publishing environment.
- Strong web editing and writing skills, with CMS experience and knowledge of HTML.
- Experience in film and audio editing (Adobe Premiere Pro essential).
- Professional use of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Desirable skills include experience with CSS/web design, filming, and software such as Audition, After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator.
