Do you have a black book full of top-tier private clients? Can you sell an unforgettable experience, not just a space? I am searching for an experienced Venue Sales Manager to work at an iconic venue in the heart of London. You will join an experienced sales team and take their private events to the next level.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll be the first point of contact for all private hire clients. From high-end weddings and private parties to VIP launches and exclusive soirées, you'll own the client journey from first inquiry to final applause. You will spot and convert new opportunities, drive revenue, and build lasting relationships in the luxury events sector. You'll also be instrumental in maintaining the company's reputation as a leading name in private hire across London.
What You'll Be Doing
- Selling event spaces for private events (weddings, parties, brand activations, etc.)
- Managing client relationships from enquiry through to post-event follow-up
- Proactively sourcing new business through networking, outreach, and referrals
- Developing and executing strategies to attract high-net-worth individuals and private clients
- Collaborating with internal events teams and external suppliers to deliver flawless experiences
- Creating and presenting weekly sales reports to senior stakeholders
- Representing the brand at industry events and networking opportunities
- Developing compelling, bespoke proposals and negotiating with clients across both B2C and B2B channels
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in private hire sales, ideally within a high-end or luxury venue
- A solid network of HNWIs, private event planners, PAs, concierge teams, and agencies
- Experience working with weddings, private parties, or exclusive events
- A proactive and strategic approach to business development
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in managing sales pipelines and reporting KPIs
- A flair for customer service and storytelling - you know how to bring a venue to life
