Senior Commercial Sales Manager – Events & Sponsorship
Wimbledon (Hybrid/Flexible) | £35,000-£42,000 base + commission (higher base considered for the right candidate)
Are you an experienced sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and reaching meaningful targets? Take ownership of sponsorship sales for a major manufacturing event series that welcomes over 13,500 delegates and 450 sponsors each year.
What you\’ll be responsible for:
Managing sponsorship sales across four key shows held in June.
Looking after clients across the UK, US & EU – with your own designated portfolio.
Proactively generating new business through outbound telephone calls and managing warm inbound leads.
Meeting clients in person and maintaining positive relationships.
Identifying new sales opportunities, including cross-selling with a digital manufacturing publication.
Meeting an annual revenue target of around £330K in sponsorship sales.
What we\’re looking for:
Experience in B2B sales, ideally within events or exhibitions.
Comfortable making proactive outbound telephone calls.
Confident in building rapport with clients face-to-face.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth areas.
Motivated to contribute from day one and adaptable to a fast-moving environment.
