Overview
Senior Commercial Sales Manager – Events & Sponsorship, based in Wimbledon (Hybrid/Flexible).
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 base + commission. WeAreAspire is seeking an experienced sales leader to own sponsorship sales for a well-established exhibition with 13,000+ attendees and 400+ sponsors annually.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and grow sponsorship sales across a flagship exhibition (four shows in June).
- Manage a portfolio of UK, US, and EU clients, split alphabetically across the team.
- Generate new business through proactive outbound sales, as well as managing warm inbound leads.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through calls and face-to-face meetings.
- Identify new routes to market and explore cross-selling opportunities with digital publications.
- Achieve an annual revenue target of approximately £330K.
About You / Qualifications
- Proven background in B2B sales, ideally within events or exhibitions.
- Confident in outbound sales and comfortable making high volumes of proactive calls.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
- Experienced in face-to-face sales and client meetings.
