We're working on a hands-on Product Developer role in the functional beverages and food supplements space, with a strong focus on ready-to-drink (RTD) products. If you enjoy being close to both product innovation and technical detail, this one sits right at the centre of NPD, compliance, and quality.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end new product development (NPD) from concept through to launch
  • Working directly with manufacturers on sampling, production, and scale-up
  • Exploring trends and ingredients in functional supplements + RTD beverages
  • Reviewing clinical research to support evidence-based product development
  • Visiting manufacturing sites for key production runs

Compliance & regulatory:

  • Supporting compliance across UK, EU, US, UAE, Australia & Canada
  • Writing and reviewing pack copy, claims, and marketing content
  • Ensuring e‑commerce listings remain accurate and compliant
  • Working closely with marketing to align messaging with regulations
  • Maintaining nutrition and artwork databases

Quality & technical:

  • Reviewing Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for every batch
  • Managing third‑party testing (microbiological, heavy metals, nutritional)
  • Maintaining supplier QA records
  • Supporting technical queries from customer service
  • Approving retained samples and flagging quality issues

Location: London (Hybrid)

Important note: Strong preference for candidates who can be in the London office on Tuesdays (sample delivery day - high volumes handled on-site)

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years' experience in product development or technical roles
  • Strong experience with RTD beverages (essential/strong preference)
  • Background in functional foods, beverages, or supplements
  • Experience working with third-party manufacturers
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks across multiple markets
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
