This is an opportunity to lead the marketing strategy behind one of the world's most recognised global podcasts. We're working with a leading media and investment business that operates at the intersection of creator-led media, communities, products and ventures. At the heart of the business is a globally recognised podcast with a huge international audience - and we're looking for a Head of Marketing to help take it to the next level.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll own campaign strategy, audience expansion and go-to-market execution, with a clear mission: Make sure the podcast is everywhere its audience is. Every platform. Every screen. Every relevant channel.
You'll lead the strategy behind high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive audience growth, engagement and commercial impact. You'll translate broader business objectives into campaigns that capture attention, cut through the noise and create genuine conversation. You'll think beyond individual channels, looking at the entire distribution ecosystem and identifying new opportunities to put content in front of more people, on more platforms, more consistently.
You'll use data and audience insight to understand what is working, what isn't and where the next opportunity lies. You'll establish a culture of continuous testing and optimisation, ensuring campaigns are constantly evolving to improve reach, engagement, conversion and commercial performance. You'll also build and lead a high-performing marketing team. You'll hire, develop and mentor exceptional people, setting high standards and creating an environment where the team can move quickly, take ownership and consistently deliver outstanding work.
The role will require significant cross-functional leadership. You'll work closely with teams across content, social, paid media, product and the wider business to ensure everyone is aligned and campaigns move at pace. You'll anticipate challenges, remove blockers and bring people together to get things done. Ultimately, you'll be responsible for making sure marketing delivers more than attention. It needs to deliver audience growth, sustained engagement and measurable commercial impact.
We're looking for an experienced marketing leader who has a proven track record of taking campaigns from strategy through to execution and delivering measurable results. You may come from a media, entertainment, content, creator, consumer or digital business. You'll have experience leading multi-channel campaigns and understand how to build audiences across an increasingly fragmented media landscape.
You'll be as comfortable discussing audience growth and engagement as you are talking about revenue and commercial performance. You understand how to take a great product, show or piece of content and build the marketing strategy around it - finding the right audience, identifying the right channels and making sure the message cuts through. You'll be highly data-led, using audience insight and performance data to make decisions rather than relying on instinct alone.
You'll know how to create a strong test-and-learn culture and how to turn learnings into better marketing. You'll also be an experienced people leader. You'll know how to build and develop high-performing marketing teams, set clear expectations and create an environment where exceptional people can do their best work.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who can think big and move quickly. You'll be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly, decisions need to be made with imperfect information and there is always another opportunity to pursue.
