We are working with a well-established international events business with 30+ years’ experience delivering large-scale exhibitions and conferences across energy, infrastructure, tech, and innovation. They’re expanding their renewable energy portfolio and looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow their European client base.
About the Event
A leading renewable energy exhibition in Barcelona bringing together:
- Solar and battery storage innovators
- Infrastructure and clean energy developers
- Utilities and commercial energy users
- Investors, installers and solution providers
It is a key meeting point for partnerships and deals shaping Europe’s clean energy future.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to close.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers across Europe.
- Sell exhibition space and sponsorship packages.
- Create tailored proposals in Spanish and English.
- Manage pipeline using CRM (Salesforce).
- Work closely with marketing, ops and conference teams.
- Propose ideas to help grow event performance.
What we’re looking for
- Native Spanish or Catalan speaker.
- Strong English communication skills.
- 1‑2 years of experience in sales, business development, recruitment, events or a client‑facing role.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working to targets and managing multiple priorities.
- Organised, resilient and commercially minded.
- Interest in renewable energy or sustainability is a plus.
