About this role
We are looking for a proactive, detail-focused audience developer to help grow audiences, drive event attendance and deliver impactful marketing campaigns across a busy events portfolio.
What you'll be doing
- Grow audiences & drive engagement
- Support audience growth across events and digital platforms
- Help identify new audience opportunities and build targeted campaigns
- Improve engagement across email, social, and web channels
- Email & campaign delivery
- Build and manage campaigns using Mailchimp
- Set up event registrations and marketing journeys
- Create tracked links for campaigns, sponsors, and social activity
- Data & insights
- Work with CRM/CDP tools including BlueConic
- Manage and clean audience data (segmentation, uploads, unsubscribes)
- Track performance and support reporting across campaigns
- Events marketing support
- Help drive delegate registrations for a busy events calendar
- Support live events (virtual + in-person) when needed
- Work closely with operations to ensure audience targets are hit
- Keep event pages updated via WordPress
- Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, editorial, commercial, and events teams
- Support sponsors and partners with campaign delivery
- Help bring campaigns to life across multiple channels
What we're looking for
- 2+ years' marketing or audience development experience (events ideal)
- Strong email marketing experience (Mailchimp or similar)
- Confident working with data, lists, and segmentation
- Great copywriting and communication skills
- Organised, calm under pressure, and able to juggle multiple deadlines
- Interest in events, audiences, and performance marketing
- Experience with CRM/CDP tools (bonus if you've used BlueConic or similar)
