Are you ready to shape and grow a brand-new accountancy practice within a fast-growing corporate services group? We're expanding from company formation into accountancy and legal services, with over 500,000 clients and 20% YoY growth. We're looking for an experienced professional who can bring structure, strategy, and insight in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Build & Scale: Establish a new accountancy practice from the ground up, designing services for SMEs including tax, accounts, and statutory compliance.
- Drive Growth: Support client acquisition, develop new revenue streams, and provide advisory services.
- Develop & Support Team: Recruit, mentor, and support a high-performing team while creating processes and systems that scale.
- Own Performance: Manage P&L, operations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Shape Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO and senior management to guide organisational transformation.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant
- 15+ years' experience in SME or professional services accountancy
- Experienced in building or scaling an accountancy practice or division
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards & UK tax regulations
- Commercially aware with experience in high-volume SME accounting
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and able to bring clarity in a fast-moving environment
