We're seeking a talented Bilingual Energy Writer & Interviewer to turn high-level conversations into compelling stories that inform decision-makers across the global energy industry.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of energy, investment, government and international business - producing journalism that goes beyond the headlines.
- Conduct interviews with senior executives, government officials and key industry figures.
- Write sharp, engaging articles on oil and gas, hydrocarbons legislation, gas monetisation, field redevelopment and energy investment.
- Deliver news briefs, executive Q&As and press releases to tight deadlines.
- Turn complex technical discussions into clear, accurate and commercially relevant stories.
- Cover major industry developments, investment opportunities and strategic energy events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, Arabic or Portuguese.
- Experience in journalism, business writing, energy reporting or investment-related content.
- Confidence asking insightful questions of senior decision-makers.
- Strong research skills, editorial judgement and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Comfortable working remotely with international stakeholders and meeting deadlines across time zones.
The role is remote, with potential international travel for interviews, conferences and industry events. Candidates must be prepared to discuss travel requirements, including the possibility of extended assignments of up to six months.
- $1,800-$2,000 gross per month
