We’re looking for a confident, part‑time hands‑on Housekeeping Supervisor who leads from the front and takes real pride in high standards. Reporting to our Head Housekeeper, you’ll be working across our stunning exclusive use wedding and events venue located in central Lewes, East Sussex with 30 guest bedrooms.
Working with our Head Housekeeper and team you’ll play a key role in making sure our venue is guest‑ready, wedding‑perfect, and consistently immaculate.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising a small team of housekeeping staff to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensuring all bedrooms and other areas meet our quality standards
- Allocating tasks, managing workloads, and keeping the team on track
- Training new team members
- Leading by example — maintaining standards through your own work as well as others
- Daily organisation of your team to ensure all works are completed to standard and on time.
The practical information:
- Part‑time contracted hours 20 hours per week; however due to seasonality of this role you may be required to work additional hours.
- Due to the nature of our business, salary is set to such a level to compensate for the need for additional hours.
- Although your salary is set to a certain amount of hours, hours may fluctuate due to the business needs and during quieter periods you may not be required to work but will be paid for this to compensate.
- Shift notice: Rotas issued approx 2-3 months in advance.
