About Us

Quanta Group is a next-generation financial services Group, responsible for assets under advice of around £17bn and nearly 75,000 clients across platform, DFM and advice. Quanta Group provides a full wealth management service through three core businesses - an investment platform, financial planning and advice business, and discretionary fund manager.

We’re helping the next generation of financial advisers to grow their business, today.

About The Role

The Strategic Transformation team is responsible for executing a portfolio of key initiatives to deliver the Quanta Group’s strategic objectives. We drive large scale transformation programmes across platform, advice and investment businesses while improving processes, enhancing customer and adviser experience, and enabling stronger integration across the Group. We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Quanta Group Strategic Transformation Team. The role will primarily support our platform transformation programme but may also support other strategic initiatives across the Quanta Group.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing business needs, shaping requirements, mapping processes, and supporting the delivery of strategic change. You will act as a key bridge between key business stakeholders, outsource providers and external third parties. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in wealth management, investment platforms, or wider financial services who thrives in fast moving, complex transformation environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis & Requirements: Lead detailed requirements gathering across multiple business areas, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives. Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and functional specifications. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process discovery sessions with stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Map current state ("as is") processes and design optimised future state ("to be") processes. Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and efficiency within operational and technical workflows. Support definition of business rules, customer journeys, and data flows.
  • Platform Transformation Programme: Support all stages of the platform transformation lifecycle—from discovery & analysis through to execution, testing, and implementation. Work closely with technology partners, vendors, and internal SMEs to validate requirements and solution designs. Contribute to readiness planning, migration activities, and operational change impacts.
  • Project Delivery & Governance: Assist project managers in defining scope, timelines, and deliverables. Support the creation of documentation, reporting packs, and governance materials. Engage in testing activities, including test case creation, UAT planning, and defect triage.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Group. Challenge constructively, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, scalable, and aligned to the Group’s strategic transformation roadmap. Communicate complex topics in a clear, structured, and meaningful way.

About You

Essential Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in wealth management, investment platforms and broader financial services. Demonstrable experience supporting large scale transformation or platform change programmes. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong documentation capabilities and familiarity with BA tools and techniques (user stories, data mapping, etc.). Ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders. Confident communicator with strong facilitation skills.

Desirable: Experience with platform migrations or major technology implementations. Knowledge of UK regulatory environment impacting wealth and platform operations. Exposure to agile delivery methodologies. Experience working across multiple business units or within group structured organisations.
