About The Role

As Associate Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in the development of Wealthtime’s marketing strategy and lead on its execution. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role is critical in shaping how Wealthtime is positioned in the market, experienced by advisers and customers, and understood by internal stakeholders. You will oversee brand, digital, PR, events, and communications, ensuring alignment with sales activity, commercial goals and delivering measurable impact. You will also support Quanta, contributing to group‑level marketing and internal communications that enhance visibility, cohesion, and cultural alignment across the portfolio. This role is designed as a pathway to Marketing Director within 2‑3 years, based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Leadership: Work with the Commercial Director to develop and deliver a commercially focused, insight‑led marketing strategy aligned to Wealthtime’s growth ambitions. Lead the annual marketing planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business priorities, sales activity and market opportunities, ensuring a key focus on value, effectiveness and return on investment. Shape and evolve the Wealthtime brand to reflect its strategic positioning and values. Support Quanta group‑level marketing initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment across businesses.
  • Marketing Communications: Own and maintain the full suite of Wealthtime adviser and customer collateral ensuring compliance with COBS and marketing approval processes at all times. Drive all adviser marketing, communication and campaign activity using a wide range of marketing tools to improve brand awareness and drive lead generation, in line with the Commercial strategy to help deliver new inflows and retain existing business. Maintain an up‑to‑date presence on all third‑party comparison tools and due diligence sites.
  • Digital & Customer Experience: Own the digital marketing experience, including websites, email, search and social media, to drive engagement and enhance the customer experience. Lead the marketing automation approach and technology stack to optimise demand generation through digital marketing activity and the automation of marketing processes. Monitor and integrate emerging digital trends and technologies to ensure innovation and relevance.
  • Events, Sponsorship & PR: Lead PR development and media engagement to build positive brand reputation and thought leadership. Drive corporate events and sponsorships that elevate Wealthtime’s profile and support strategic objectives. Work with the PR agency to help facilitate effective relationships with financial press and influencers to amplify brand visibility.
  • Internal Communications & Culture: Lead internal communications across Wealthtime and the Quanta group, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with strategic goals. Develop and deliver internal campaigns that support culture, change initiatives, and leadership messaging. Collaborate with the People & Culture team and senior leaders to embed our purpose and behaviours and drive employee engagement.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Customer Experience, Commercial, People & Culture, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated and effective. Support Distribution in driving new business and increasing market share through targeted marketing activity.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Provide leadership to the Marketing team, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative culture. Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure efficient and impactful delivery. Actively contribute to the Commercial leadership team, promoting challenge, accountability, and shared success.

About You

Skills & Experience: Extensive senior‑level marketing experience within Financial Services. Proven track record in marketing, brand development, and digital innovation. Strong experience in internal communications and employee engagement. Proven experience of managing the effectiveness of marketing activities and evidence of continual improvement. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Inspirational leadership style with a focus on team development and culture. Commercially astute, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to influence and challenge constructively across all levels. Experience representing the business externally.
