An established, award-winning Chartered Financial Planning firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing Wealth Management team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner looking to take a more hands‑on role within the financial planning process.

Unlike many Paraplanner positions, you'll work closely alongside Financial Advisers from the outset, attending client meetings, contributing to financial planning discussions and helping formulate client strategies-not simply writing reports.

The Role

  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters.
  • Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
  • Attend client meetings alongside Financial Advisers.
  • Assist in developing holistic financial plans.
  • Support advisers throughout the advice process.
  • Ensure all work meets FCA and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum

Level 4 Diploma (Dip FA, Dip PFS or equivalent).

  • Previous experience working as a

Paraplanner within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm.

  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions and investments.
  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience of Intelligent Office, Xplan or similar back‑office systems advantageous.
