Senior/Technical Paraplanner - Up to £45,000 - Hybrid Working

We're looking for a proactive and technically adept individual to join our team, providing crucial support on complex and high-net-worth (HNW) cases, while contributing to team development.

The Role:
As a Senior/Technical Paraplanner, you will be instrumental in supporting high-net-worth (HNW) and complex client cases. Your responsibilities will include:
Advanced Financial Analysis: Conducting detailed cash flow modelling, estate planning, pension analysis, and in-depth investment research.
Complex Case Management: Working on intricate financial planning scenarios, including trusts, taxation, and inheritance planning.
Technical Report Writing: Producing comprehensive and technically robust financial reports tailored to individual client needs.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring all financial planning recommendations strictly adhere to the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Mentoring & Development: Providing guidance, support, and sharing technical expertise and best practices with other paraplanners.
Liaison: Collaborating closely with financial advisers, clients, and external product providers to deliver optimal client solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Staying up-to-date with industry changes, regulations, and financial products to enhance technical knowledge and ensure best-in-class service.
Skills & Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial services paraplanning role.
A Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is required; Chartered status (or working towards it) would be a significant advantage.
A proven track record of supporting and developing team members, with evidence of team development and progression.
A comprehensive understanding of the financial advice sales process, compliance frameworks, and the entire paraplanning process.
Excellent practical understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, taxation, and estate planning, with the ability to handle complex cases.
Exceptional analytical excellence, interpreting intricate financial data to provide clear, strategic recommendations.
Meticulous precision and accuracy in research, report writing, and compliance documentation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach, taking initiative to enhance financial planning processes.
A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
