This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in financial services paraplanning to make a significant impact.

  • Technical Report Writing: Producing comprehensive and technically robust financial reports tailored to individual client needs.

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring all financial planning recommendations strictly adhere to the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Mentoring & Development: Providing guidance, support, and sharing technical expertise and best practices with other paraplanners.

  • Liaison: Collaborating closely with financial advisers, clients, and external product providers to deliver optimal client solutions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Staying up-to-date with industry changes, regulations, and financial products to enhance technical knowledge and ensure best-in-class service.

Skills & Experience:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial services paraplanning role.

  • A Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) is required; Chartered status (or working towards it) would be a significant advantage.

  • A proven track record of supporting and developing team members, with evidence of team development and progression.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the financial advice sales process, compliance frameworks, and the entire paraplanning process.

  • Excellent practical understanding of Microsoft Office packages.

  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, taxation, and estate planning, with the ability to handle complex cases.

  • Exceptional analytical excellence, interpreting intricate financial data to provide clear, strategic recommendations.

  • Meticulous precision and accuracy in research, report writing, and compliance documentation.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach, taking initiative to enhance financial planning processes.

  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

What's On Offer:

  • Salary up to £45,000 per annum.

  • Hybrid working model offering flexibility.

  • Permanent position.

  • Opportunities for career development and growth within a leading wealth management firm.

  • A culture that values integrity, respect, wellbeing, excellence, and accountability.
