As an Operations Specialist in our Operations team, you’ll support day‑to‑day operations across all our product types to provide a seamless and efficient customer experience for our clients. This includes managing ISA, GIA and pension transfers and day‑to‑day operational activities. You will be in close contact with all areas of the operations team and the wider WealthKernel teams. We’re looking for candidates who have previous experience in a similar role.
Typical day
- Processing operational tasks such as transfers and cash payments across ISAs, JISAs, GIAs and Pension wrappers
- Processing in‑specie transfers and ensuring the correct registration of the underlying customer assets
- Performing general operational tasks such as matching customer deposits, matching transfer deposits and returning any unmatched deposits
- Working as part of a small team, using effective communication to ensure daily tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintaining ownership of any request until resolution and meeting agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
Operational activities change from time to time as the business grows to meet the changing demands of a rapidly scaling Operations function.
Requirements
- Knowledge of ISA/SIPP and GIA, particularly regarding cash and in‑specie transfers as well as pension drawdown
- Experience with established platforms and fast‑paced environments
- Willingness to learn more about and take ownership of processes and customer outcomes, delivering the best outcomes for our clients
- Organised and comfortable communicating across teams
- Technical build interest and keen to operate in a tech‑focused environment
