WealthAi is building the AI operating system for wealth management. We help wealth managers, financial advisers, family offices and EAMs use AI across their businesses, connecting data, workflows and intelligent agents so their teams can focus on higher-value client work.
We are a small, focused pre‑seed team. As our Product Analyst, you will make sure what we decide to build is specified clearly, built properly and tested thoroughly. You will bring the detail and process that let a small team move quickly without things falling through the gaps. You will work closely with our CPO, engineering, client success, our commercial team and the founders.
You will have a real voice. We expect you to challenge priorities and recommend changes, backed by evidence. This role suits someone who enjoys getting the detail right and wants to deepen their expertise over time.
What you’ll do
Turn client needs into clear requirements
- Join calls with prospects and clients to understand how their front, middle and back office teams work today
- Translate what you hear into structured, unambiguous requirements
- Map current and future user journeys for advisers, paraplanners and operations teams
- Pass client insight to product, client success and sales
- Give the CPO a clear view on priorities, challenge decisions with evidence from clients and testing, and raise risks and gaps early
Write and maintain product detail
- Write PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from
- Support refinement, scoping and trade‑off discussions with engineering
- Keep requirements, journey maps and product documentation accurate and current
Test and protect quality
- Test features in staging against acceptance criteria and real user journeys
- Log, triage and follow up defects with engineering
- Support release sign-off and write release notes
Build our product process
- Introduce and maintain templates, standards and a definition of ready and done
- Improve how work moves from client feedback to spec, build, test and release
- Spot gaps and inconsistencies across the product and propose fixes
Demonstrate and enable
- Build and run product demos and prototypes for prospects and clients
- Support sales conversations with product knowledge
- Produce user guides and enablement material for clients and internal teams
How we’ll measure success
PRD quality and engineering readiness, defects caught before release, requirements validated with clients, consistency and currency of documentation, adoption of the product process, and the time from client insight to agreed spec.
What you’ll bring
- 2 to 4 years in a product role (product manager, product owner, business analyst or similar) in SaaS, technology or a regulated business
- Experience in wealth management
- Strong written requirements, with PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria you have written yourself
- A natural eye for detail and structured, methodical testing
- Experience creating or improving process in a team
- Confidence running discovery conversations with senior, non‑technical stakeholders
- Comfort working independently and creating structure in an early‑stage business
- AI‑fast ways of working: using AI to research, draft, prototype, test and summarise
- Front office experience (for example adviser, paraplanner, portfolio manager, relationship manager or client service), giving you first‑hand knowledge of how these firms work
- Experience with journey mapping and prototyping tools
- Experience with agile delivery and tools such as Azure DevOps, Notion or Miro
