What is the role? This job description sets out the scope of the role of the Internal Project Manager / SaaS Product Release Manager at Wealth Dynamix. It does not include or define all tasks which the post holder may be expected to carry out. Duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility.
Main Purpose of Role
As a Project Manager / SaaS Product Release Manager, you will oversee the delivery of product initiatives across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will be responsible for enforcing process discipline within the internal product team, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and scope are met. Unlike client-facing project managers, your focus will be internal execution excellence — driving alignment between engineering, product, and operations to ensure timely SaaS releases and continuous improvement in delivery practices. This role requires a strong communicator and facilitator who thrives in a fast paced SaaS environment, balancing agility with rigor to deliver high-quality outcomes. On occasions you will be expected to take on smaller client facing roles in parallel to managing the internal product release deliverables.
Main Responsibilities
- Delivery Leadership: Facilitate ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for the SaaS product team.
- Release Management: Coordinate SaaS release cycles, project planning and milestone tracking, ensuring smooth deployments, quality assurance, and post-release validation.
- Milestone Tracking: Ensure product roadmaps are aligned with sprint deliverables and track progress against SaaS delivery milestones.
- Cross Functional Coordination: Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure SaaS deployments are seamless and predictable.
- Process Discipline: Maintain a high standard of delivery rigor to the SaaS environment (continuous delivery, CI/CD pipelines).
