What is the role?
This job description sets out the scope of the role of Project Manager – Scrum Master (SaaS Product) at Wealth Dynamix. It does not include or define all tasks which the post holder may be expected to carry out. Duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility.
Main Purpose of Role
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of Software product initiatives across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will be responsible for enforcing process discipline within internal product teams, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and scope are met. Unlike client-facing project managers, your focus will be internal execution excellence — driving alignment between engineering, product, and operations to ensure timely SaaS releases and continuous improvement in delivery practices. This role requires a strong communicator and facilitator who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, balancing agility with rigor to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Agile Delivery Leadership: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for SDLC product teams.
- Release Management: Coordinate release cycles, ensuring smooth deployments, quality assurance, and post-release validation.
- Milestone Tracking: Ensure product roadmaps are aligned with sprint deliverables and track progress against SaaS delivery milestones.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure deployments are seamless and predictable.
- Process Discipline: Maintain a high standard of delivery rigor while adapting Agile practices to the SaaS environment (continuous delivery, CI/CD pipelines).
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, escalate where necessary, and drive mitigation strategies.
- Internal Stakeholder Reporting: Provide structured reporting to senior stakeholders (e.g., Head of Development, Head of Product) with clear progress updates.
- Team Culture: Foster accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within SaaS product teams.
Why should you apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing FinTech environment with excellent career progression available. With a global client base the role offers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of digital transformation projects – each with their own unique requirements and opportunities. We take career progression seriously, with investment into the WDX Academy for new and existing employee learning and development. You will learn a lot with exposure to multiple complex client needs.
Who is best suited to this role?
A minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience, with at least 5 years working directly with SDLC projects. Proven experience managing product development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong background as a Scrum Master in fast-paced SDLC environments. Deep understanding of release management and continuous delivery practices. Ability to engage and influence senior internal stakeholders with confidence. Strong organizational skills and a track record of delivering on time, within scope. Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills. FinTech or Wealth Management SaaS experience desirable but not essential.
We believe we offer career defining opportunities and are on a journey that will build awesome memories in a diverse and inclusive culture. If you are looking for more than just a job, get in touch.
