We are now looking to expand our Investment Research team with up to three new Analysts. The exact role will depend on your experience, talents and ambitions.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain the website reviews of all tax-efficient products, with twice-yearly updates
- Maintain regular contact with investment managers
- Maintain performance information on all the funds
- Conduct due diligence on any new funds to be offered
- Help maintain the website reviews of all Private Markets funds, with quarterly updates
- Quantitative and qualitative fund research
- Create and present fund research reports and make investment recommendations to the Investment Committee
- Attend monthly portfolio meetings and provide input on the management of portfolios: maintaining asset allocation framework and ensuring portfolios are aligned with our risk management framework
- Willingness to engage with journalists on the full range of investments offered
Qualifications
- CFA or CISI Level 7
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with Morningstar Direct
- First-hand experience in building and maintaining fund research screens, portfolio analytics, and risk models
- Knowledge about tax-efficient investments
- Knowledge about investment trusts
- Knowledge about private markets
- Experience managing investment portfolios, presenting fund ideas and challenges to an investment committee
- Experience interviewing fund managers
- Willingness to be inventive and entrepreneurial
