Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our thriving business. Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence? Do you thrive in fast-paced, precision-driven environments? This role will be based in Hayes or Greenford, Greater London, and you will lead factory operations, manage a high-performing team, and drive performance in a collaborative environment.

Hours of Work

Full time. Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm and 12 noon to 10pm (10hr shift per day).

Base Pay Range

Up to £45k to £47k per annum depending on direct relevant experience.

Location

Depot based: Greenford UB6 or Hayes UB4, Middlesex.

Responsibilities

Operations Manager duties include overseeing end-to-end factory operations, from shift planning and goods intake to high/low risk production processing, storage, order picking, and despatch. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement, all while focusing on compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in a related field
• Proven experience managing operations within a chilled food processing environment for at least 3 years
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP Level 3/4 and Food Hygiene Level 3/4)
• Experience with audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and managing compliance
