The Role
As a Stock Controller, you will keep all sites stocked with packaging and labels, ensuring production is continuous. The key responsibilities will include:
- Booking in new arrivals of packaging.
- Completing intake sheets.
- Taking in daily stock of all packaging items and managing supply.
- Daily removal of unwanted stock from the Packhouse.
- Recording of movements of stock to the main Packhouse.
- Weekly stock count on trays, labels and packaging items.
- Recording packaging movement between sites, accompanied with a signed delivery note.
- Ensuring general tidiness of the packaging store.
- Communicating with the production tams on all sites.
- To build relationships with account managers to ensure we get the very best from suppliers.
- Keeping on top of new and ongoing promotions.
