Overview As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for driving the organisational demand plans while aligning with potential sales and evaluating external factors influencing demand. You will analyse sales and supply data along with market trends to forecast future product needs accurately. This role requires collaboration with commercial teams to develop precise forecasts and continuous improvement in forecasting metrics to optimise inventory levels and production planning. You will also create essential metrics and dashboards to support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), communicating vital insights across teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Drive organisational demand plans and align with sales, evaluating external factors influencing demand
Analyse sales and supply data along with market trends to forecast future product needs accurately
Collaborate with commercial teams to develop precise forecasts and improve forecasting metrics to optimise inventory levels and production planning
Create metrics and dashboards to support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and communicate insights across teams to drive efficiency
Qualifications
Educated to degree level in a Supply Chain or other relevant discipline
Highly proficient with IT systems and thorough understanding of advanced data analytics tools including SQL, Python, Power Query and Power BI
Analytical capabilities
Strong business discernment and judgment
Ability to influence decisions by working across different organizational functions
Proven track record of working in supply chain in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and natural curiosity with capability in understanding industry updates and market trends
Strong knowledge of forecasting methods and formulas
Expert skills in Excel for planning, modelling and scenario planning
Clear communication, influencing and relationship management skills across cross-functional teams
Strong work ethic, numerate, analytical, pragmatic with a results-driven and logical approach
A good commercial acumen and enjoy coordinating projects/driving change
