General Information
Job Title: Youth Worker
Place of Work: Hailsham and Hellingly
Hours: We have the following shifts available (shift patterns will be negotiated with successful candidates):
- Monday: 5.45pm – 9pm
- Thursday: 6pm – 8.45pm
- Friday: 3pm – 5.30pm and/or 2.5 hours between 5.30pm – 9pm
Closing Date: 4pm on Friday 10 th October 2025

Hailsham Youth Service is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for young people. We work across a range of services including youth clubs, outreach programs, and mentoring schemes, ensuring young people have access to the opportunities and support they need to thrive.
The Role
As a Youth Worker, you will work closely with young people aged 10 – 21 to deliver a range of activities and interventions that promote personal development, positive mental health, and social skills. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong, supportive relationships with young people, encouraging them to engage in activities, make informed choices, and achieve their goals.
