Are you looking to develop your career within the Revenues department? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revenues professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role within a busy and dynamic Revenues team, providing day-to-day support and guidance to Revenues Officers and Revenues Team Leaders while working closely alongside the other Senior Revenues Officer.
What will the role involve? As a Senior Revenues Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of an efficient, professional and customer-focused Revenues service. Working within a busy team, you will provide guidance and support to Revenues Officers, assist Team Leaders with workload management and act as a technical lead for complex Council Tax and Business Rates cases. You will help ensure work is completed accurately and in line with legislation, support customers with more complex enquiries and complaints, contribute to recovery and court processes and work closely with colleagues to drive service improvements and maintain high standards across the team.
