What will the role involve?

Customer-focused service. Key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out pre-void inspections and working with colleagues and contractors to ensure homes are re-let quickly and efficiently.

• Conducting tenancy sign-ups, helping new tenants understand their tenancy rights and responsibilities and supporting them to settle into their new home.

• Undertaking a range of tenancy visits, including introductory tenancy visits, and tenancy management inspections.

• Working with residents and partner agencies to create safer neighbourhoods, addressing anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and environmental concerns.

• Supporting and promoting tenant participation, ensuring residents have opportunities to influence services and shape their communities.

• Managing tenancy changes, mutual exchanges, successions and transfers.

• Identifying support needs and working with partner organisations to help sustain tenancies.

• Carrying out estate inspections and identifying opportunities to improve neighbourhoods and communal areas.

• Building positive relationships with residents, community groups and partner agencies

What skills, knowledge and abilities do you require for the role?

- Experience in social housing management

- Experience of interviewing members of the public

- Knowledge of housing legislation or similar

- Knowledge of anti-social behaviour legislation
