You will carry out regular inspections of Council owned car parks, representing the Council in a manner that is consistent with the highest standards of customer service, pride and community service. Duties will include the issue of Excess Charge Notices, to identify sources of Car Parking infringements and report these, to assist in the daily management of car parks by reporting orders for repairs and signage and maintain the Council's Pay and Display Machines. You will need to have a full clean driving licence for this role, a vehicle will be provided for work use only and will be based at the Council Offices, Hailsham. Working Pattern This role operates on a 5-day working week basis, including a rotating weekend schedule. Employees are required to work approximately 1 in every 2 weekends, with appropriate days off allocated during the week in lieu of weekend working.
